At the 2015 Ake Arts & Book Festival
GEOFFREY KWADWO GYASI (Pen name: GEOSI GYASI) is a teacher, book blogger, poet, and interviewer. Since 2010, he has interviewed over 300 writers and poets across the world, including Nobel Prize recipient Roald Hoffmann, Commonwealth Prize winner Benjamin Kwakye, Caine Prize winner Henrietta Rose-Innes, Pushcart Prize winner Matt Mason, Poet Laureate of Ohio Amit Majmudar.
His work has appeared or forthcoming in The Galway Review, Indiana Voice Journal, Eunoia Review, The Literary Nest and Juked.
He is the author of the book, “Geosi Interviews Fifty Writers Worldwide” (March 2017) from Lamar University Literary Press in Texas, U.S.
In 2015, he was the winner of the maiden Ake/Air France Prize for Prose in the English Category.

I definitely know how much you adore ‘The Sun by Night’ by Benjamin Kwakye and the noise you’ve made about that book. I’m really looking forward to reading it although I’ve not yet come across one in the book stores. I hope it wouldn’t disappointment me though!

Hmm! Linda, I do understand you. I understand how much I have raised your interest in this particular book but I can assure you that it wouldn’t disappoint you. Here is a cake to taste: The story is partly written in the second person narrative and that alone would bite you hard. It is beautifully written and then has a strong theme. I look forward to your comments when you have finally read it.

Hi Geosi, how can you help promote my literature novel internationally? My name is Edem, a child advocate from Ghana. My first novel, Daylight received rescued the child honour. My third book, The twin faith is about how the moral values of an african folks were adored and over practiced leading them into frequent stragedy and if the sacrificed twins or the gospel preachers don’t return, the entire village shall be wipe off. It’s very intriguing and has its suspense displayed in order.
