Brief Biography:

Diane Seuss was raised in rural Michigan. She is the author of three collections of poetry: It Blows You Hollow (New Issues Poetry Press 1998), Wolf Lake, White Gown Blown Open (Juniper Prize, University of Massachusetts Press, 2010) and Four-Legged Girl (Graywolf Press, forthcoming in 2015).

Geosi Gyasi: Do you read lots of poetry?

Diane Seuss: Yes, I read a great deal, partly because I teach and have to stay current in order to keep my students interested, and partly because for me, poetry is my food and my spiritual text.

The rest of the interview will be available in my forthcoming book (2016) by Lamar University Press Books.
